24 His reputation spread throughout Syria,[a] and they brought to him all those who were sick, afflicted with various diseases, racked with pain, or possessed by demons, as well as those who were stricken with epilepsy or paralyzed, and he healed them. 25 Great throngs from Galilee, the Decapolis,[b] Jerusalem, and Judea, and from beyond the Jordan, followed him.
